2026 Annual Pepys Commemoration Service at St Olave Hart Street 12pm-1pm

Talk : The Confessions of Samuel Pepys: His Private Revelations
The Annual Pepys commemoration service will take place at 12 noon on Thursday 28th May. We will be joined by members of The Samuel Pepys Club but all are welcome to attend this service, whether you are a member of The Samuel Pepys Club or not. The service is held annually close to the date of Samuel Pepys death.
This year the address will be given by Guy de la Bedoyere, who will talk about his recent publication 'The Confessions of Samuel Pepys' which focuses on Pepys's controversial private life for a contemporary readership, by charting his varied and complex relationships with women.
The service is free to attend but please register so we know how many people to expect.
