Our annual Red Kettle Kickoff Event is set for 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21st at Scheels (2101 W 42nd St in Sioux Falls) – on the south end of the store. There, Salvation Army officials will present store management with an award for having the best-performing red kettles in the city during the 2024 season; Scheels-based kettles raised over $41,600 last year. The University of Sioux Falls Pop Blues and Jazz Ensemble will be the featured entertainment; the group is set to join in the celebration by playing Christmas carols.
