In honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, we will have our annual pet blessing on the front lawn of our Church. The event will feature a short service celebrating all of God's creation, a prayer over our pets and people who work with animals, and a recognition of all our beloved pets that we have lost along the way.
Additionally, we will be conducting a raffle for Furkids Atlanta, Georgia's largest no-K*ll shelter. Items have been provided by national corporations, local businesses, and individuals from our congregation.
We have invited local nonprofits to table and share ways in which you can get involved as a volunteer. We will also offer free pet portraits of you, your pet, and the pastor. Guaranteed fun for all ages! So bring your pet*, friends, and family as we celebrate the God who made us all!
*All pets are welcome, but we do ask that you please have your pet leashed or in a kennel/cage. For those who are honoring a pet that has passed, please bring a picture so that we can add them to our in memoriam board.
