Please join the Southeast Chapter for the second annual family friendly float and fish trip on the beautiful Perdido River Canoe Trail in Baldwin County, Alabama.This will be a leisurely paddle with opportunities to explore, fish, and enjoy the river. Information on fishing the Perdido River can be found here https://www.outdooralabama.com/rivers-and-mobile-delta/perdido-river We will meet at the take-out at Staple Fork Landing at 9 AM on October 11 to set up our shuttle. We will paddle 4.3 miles (approximately 2.25 hours) to the Nelson’s Ditch Shelters. There are two shelters reserved for our use which will house up to 16 people.
Please let the organizer know if you would like to reserve space in the shelter. There is also space for tent camping on the sandy beach at the shelter. We will paddle another 4.7 miles (2.5 hours) to the take-out at Staple Fork Landing on Sunday the 12th.
