Curious about who represents you in Village government? Join Village Board members and Village staff at the Village’s annual organizational meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 for the first meeting of the new Village Board, which includes the swearing-in ceremony for incoming trustees Alisa Leamy, Mark Neidinger, and Lowell Prill. A meet and greet will follow the brief meeting, offering residents an opportunity to personally welcome the recently-elected trustees and chat with each member of the board. Beverages and cake will be served!Other business items on the annual meeting agenda include the opportunity for public appearances, discussion of the tentative Village Board schedule for 2026-27, and the confirmations of both board member and resident appointments to the Village's advisory boards, committees, and commissions.
The annual meeting will be held in the Community Room at the McFarland Municipal Center, 5915 Milwaukee St., and will be live streamed on the McFarland Cable Channel for those who cannot attend in person. Additionally, there will be a Zoom option for people who wish to join that way. The recording of the meeting will be available for on-demand viewing on the Cable Channel website within 48 hours of the broadcast.
