See amazing fortifications built by area students! Models will be on display in the Center for History Education with the winners announced at 3 PM.Fort Ligonier’s education department holds the annual Model Fort Contest each March in memory of the historic site’s longtime historic restorationist Brad Mooney. The Brad Mooney Historical Restoration Fund awards cash prizes to an individual or team of students from Grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
There is no entry fee and participants receive FREE ADMISSION! All other visitors on the day of the event receive a special reduced admission fee of $8.00 and Fort Ligonier Association members can always visit for FREE! If you are a student looking to participate, register today!
