About this Event
This annual meeting showcases Irish freshwater science and will be of interest to researchers and to those involved in management of water resources. It will take place at the Ulster Museum, Belfast on March 21, 2025. This will be an in-person event only.
Venue: Museum Lecture Hall (Lecture Theatre | National Museums NI)

This years meeting will have 3 sessions:
Session 1: Theme - Freshwater ecosystem restoration and conservation - challenges and solutions (talks 12-15 mins).
Session 2: Open theme - Ongoing and Finished Projects (short talks 7-10 mins).
Session 3: New Science and Research (elevator pitches - 2 mins).
Abstract submission is now open.
Abstract submission closes at 5pm, 7 February 2025.
Abstracts should have: Title, author(s), affiliation(s), Abstract (max 200 words) in Calibri font 11.
Please indicate which session you wish to be included in (please note you may not be guaranteed the session requested but organisers will do their best to accomodate all speakers).
**As in previous years there will be a prize (or prizes) for best student elevator pitch. Please indicate in your abstract submission email if you wish to be considered for student prize(s).**
