# LAWNWOOD MEMORIAL PARK
You're Invited to the Lighting of the Luminaries
**Saturday, December 5, 2026**
Dear Families and Friends,
Please join us at **Lawnwood Memorial Park** for our annual **Lighting of the Luminaries** on Saturday, December 5, 2026. This cherished holiday tradition provides a special opportunity for families and friends to come together to honor and remember their loved ones.
Candles will be available for placement from **12:00 PM to 4:30 PM**. Our staff will begin lighting the candles at **5:00 PM**. We encourage you to arrive early to place your candles and, if you wish, stay to participate in the lighting as part of this meaningful evening of remembrance.
Enjoy festive Christmas music, along with **complimentary hot chocolate and cookies**, as we gather to celebrate the memories of those we hold dear.
Holiday Food & Toy Drive
Thanks to your generous support in previous years, we are excited to incorporate a **Food and Toy Drive** into this year's Luminaries event!
Your generosity will help families in need throughout our community during the holiday season. We encourage everyone to consider bringing **non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped toys** to benefit local shelters and ministries.
**Donations are appreciated but are not required to participate in the Luminary Service.** Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Candle Distribution
To ensure that every family has an opportunity to participate, there will be a **limit of ten (10) candles per family**.
Christmas Memory Tree
We are also pleased to announce that we will have a **Christmas Memory Tree** located inside our Mausoleum.
If you would like to have your loved one's name added to the Memory Tree, please contact our office at **770-787-8314 no later than November 30, 2026**.
This special tribute offers another meaningful way to honor and remember those who remain forever in our hearts.
We sincerely hope that through remembrance, fellowship, and giving to others, you will find comfort, peace, and blessings as you continue your journey of healing.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact **our office at 770-787-8314**.
We look forward to sharing this beautiful holiday tradition with you and your family. Thank you for being part of this meaningful community event!
Warmest wishes for a peaceful and blessed holiday season,
**The Staff of Lawnwood Memorial Park**
