Annual Legacy Pinning Program at Family Day

Shippensburg ALUMNI parents, grandparents, and aunts/uncles of currently enrolled students are invited to attend a special Legacy Pinning Ceremony with the President and the Alumni Association Board of Directors to welcome current students into the Ship family.
The pinning ceremony takes place annually during Ship's Family Day. Students may attend the ceremony with their alumni family members at any point during their time at Shippensburg. While many families participate in the ceremony during their student's first year, families may choose to participate any year, including their senior year.
The Shippensburg University Legacy Program was designed to recognize the commitment of its alumni to their alma mater who support and encourage their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and siblings to consider Shippensburg University for their higher education.
