As President of Chariots of Honor, and in partnership with Remember 727, our mission is to honor those who served our nation.This partnership reflects our shared commitment to honor Korean War veterans and to support Remember 727’s mission of promoting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
In support of Remember 727, we are currently seeking Korean War Veterans to be honored at our 19th Annual 727 Korean War Armistice Day Commemoration, to be held on July 22, 2026, at Capitol Hill.

Nearly 1.8 million American service members answered a call far from home — serving with courage, endurance, and quiet heroism until the armistice was signed on July 27, 1953.
More than 36,000 never returned — including nearly 8,000 prisoners of war and those still listed as missing in action.
They were sons and daughters. Brothers and sisters. Friends and neighbors. They carried fear and hope at the same time — and still stood their ground.
We remember them.
We honor their bravery.
And we carry their sacrifice forward.
The cost of this war was not only measured on the battlefield.
More than 2.5 million Korean lives were lost, and over 10 million families were torn apart, many of whom have never held one another again. Among them are nearly 100,000 Korean Americans who still wait to reunite with loved ones in North Korea.
Today, the division between South Korea and North Korea remains unresolved. The war may be long past in history books — but on the Korean Peninsula, its shadow still remains.
As we remember the fallen, we also honor the living — the veterans who came home carrying memories no uniform could ever show, and the families who carried the burden beside them.
We remember with empathy.
We honor with courage.
And we hold onto hope — for healing, for reunion, and for lasting peace.
