In 2026, It’s America’s 250th, Lititz’s 270th, Lititz Historical Foundation’s 65th, and our Mary Oehme Gardens turn 30. So let’s celebrate!
Join us in our Mary Oehme Gardens on Sunday, September 6th for our Annual Ice Cream Social which will also feature the biggest concert event in our history as we welcome The Eighties Club!
The Eighties Club (TEC for short) was founded in summer 2024 by five highly skilled and versatile musicians (including some “80s OGs”). The band was born out of a deep desire for a fresh and exciting musical direction that reflected their passion for the vibrant, energetic sounds of the 1980s.
TEC promises a journey back to a time when synthesizers, cutting rhythmic guitars, and soaring vocals ruled the airwaves and the music was larger than life. The TEC sound is a direct homage to the legendary artists who shaped the 1980s music scene. They cover genre-defining acts such as Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Huey Lewis, INXS, Robert Palmer, Michael Jackson, Prince, and The Cars, among many others.
Come dressed as your favorite character from the 1980’s!
Bring your chairs, blankets, and dancing shoes and invite your friends, family, and neighbors. We thank Nadine and Gaylord Poling for making this concert possible. Thank You!
Refreshments available by donation.
And as if ice cream and great live 80’s music weren’t enough, in keeping with the 80’s theme we’ve got an additional BIG surprise in store for you that evening. Be sure to follow this page for the latest news on this amazing addition to the evening that you won’t want to miss.
This is a pay what you can event. We will be collecting donations that evening to help preserve our gardens and 18th century structures.
