Annual Fall Farm Fundraiser

Please join us for our Fourth Annual Fall Farm Fundraiser in support of our nonprofit therapeutic riding program, Starz Equestrian Center!
At Starz, we harness the healing power of horses to meet the needs of our community. From providing weekly therapeutic riding lessons for children and adults with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities, to creating healing opportunities for individuals in addiction recovery, partnering with organizations like Camp Casey and Detroit Horsepower, and helping Girl Scouts earn their Horseback Riding Badge, every program is made possible through the generosity of supporters like you.

• $25 for children ages 5 and under

We'll also be celebrating our 2026 Star Student, Eve Sours, and you'll hear her inspiring story about the impact horses have had on her life!
Do you know what your donation is doing in our community?
Because of supporters like you, in 2024 and 2025 we were able to:
• Purchase a 20-acre farm to expand our programming
• Completely renovate our fencing system and remove dangerous electric fencing
• Add heat to our arena allowing us to comfortably run year round
• Added a brand new front gate allowing us the safety to contain our property for both horses and humans alike when necessary
• Welcome many amazing horses to our herd
• Host over 75 Girl Scout troops
• Partner with Camp Casey to provide horses for their programs
• Host summer camps in partnership with Detroit Horsepower for inner-city youth
• Provide equine activities for those in the foster care system in partnership with Love For A Child
• Host monthly retreats in partnership with Meridian Health Services for individuals along their addiction recovery journey
Looking ahead to 2027, we're planning the future construction of our Equine Community Center. This space will allow us to expand summer camps, partner with physical, occupational, and speech therapists before equine sessions, and offer additional community enrichment opportunities such as music classes, yoga, and open sensory gym time.
We are so thankful you've decided to join us on this ride!
If you're unable to attend, please consider making a donation to support our mission. Starz Equestrian Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
