About this Event
Each year, the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology holds an Annual Lecture, where a distinguished speaker from the world of conservation gives a talk to our students, staff and members of the public. Previous speakers have included Dame Jane Goodall DBE and Tony Juniper CBE, Chair of Natural England.
This year, we are delighted to welcome Sir Charles Burrell, founder of the Knepp Rewilding Project. The work at Knepp is one of the most widely known and influential conservation projects in England and Sir Charles has played a major role in its success. He also plays an important advisory and leadership role as Chair of Conservation Carpathia and Nattergal, Vice Chair of rePLANET, and member of the board of Rewilding Europe.
Join us in Keynes Lecture Theatre 1, on the University of Kent Canterbury campus for an exciting and engaging talk from Sir Charles.
