Come one, come all to help Keep Springfield Beautiful and the East Forest Park Civic Association with our Annual Citywide Cleanup! Join us Saturday, April 26th at 9am, at Nathan Bill's, and volunteer to help clean up the city of Springfield.Our goal is to once again bring together community members and volunteers—including strong support from local colleges and faith-based groups—to make this year’s cleanup another meaningful and impactful event for East Forest Park.
All supplies, including gloves, trash bags, trash pickers, safety vests, etc... Are being generously donated by the city and will be available at Nathan Bill's the morning of April 26th.
The East Forest Park Civic Association will be handling volunteer sign-ups this year. Anyone interested in participating can email [email protected] or message the group via Facebook.
Thank you to the Springfield DPW, Scags Enterprises, local parishes, Pope Francis Preparatory School, Springfield College, Western New England University, and St. Michael’s Academy for their eagerness to participate!
***This event is a PUBLIC SPACE VOLUNTEER CLEANUP — not a residential trash pickup. The city will only be removing trash that is collected by volunteers in DESIGNATED AREAS and placed in CLEARLY MARKED BAGS at AGREED-UPON DROP SITES!***
