Keynote Speaker: Beth Karas ' 79
Beth Karas has been a reporter and legal analyst on television for decades. Currently, she appears in both seasons of a series streaming on ID and MAX called “T he Curious Case of Natalia Grace ” and Season 3 is in production. Karas is also a legal contributor for ABC's 20/20 program and part of a documentary production team at an LA-based company, Anonymous Content. Karas co-hosts the podcast “ Unrestorable ” produced by Anonymous Content and iHeartRadio. Season 2 of "Unrestorable" is in production.
Karas learned how to navigate the courtroom during her eight years as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City under legendary District Attorney, Robert Morgenthau. Karas left the DA’s office and joined Court TV in 1994 as it was celebrating its third year on the air. During her 19 years at Court TV as an on-air correspondent, Karas covered many of the highest profile cases including Jodi Arias, the Arizona woman convicted of murdering her ex-boyfriend; Casey Anthony, the Florida mother acquitted of murdering her toddler; Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson; and Scott Peterson, convicted of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci.
