HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A DACQUOISE? This is a French gataeux (a hazelnut meringue cake) layered with a decadent chocolate almond filling. YOU WILL MAKE YOUR OWN DACQUOISE CAKE AND FILLING TAKE IT HOME. NO GROUP WORK! NO PREMADE CAKES.

Are you looking for fun, unique baking classes that are taught by a professional Pastry Chef that will help you become a more successful and more confident baker? Are you tired of going to the classes that have you just watch or work in a group setting and don't let you work on your own or take home any of the food? Annie's classes are hands on and everyone works individually. Why? The best way to learn is to do it yourself. You will create your own sweets and take home what you make in every class. You will also learn techniques to carry you beyond this class that will help builid your confidence and increaase your chances of success when you go and recreate these recipes on your own or apply the techniques to other baking recipes.

Pastry Chef, Ann LoParo, Aka Annie is so excited to be hosting a hands on baking class at her school in Berea! Annie is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and has over 18 years professional baking experience as a Pastry Chef and over 7 1/2 years experience teaching students of all ages locally in Cleveland and internationally on zoom. Annie has taught over 1400 classes to students all over the world and has had her classes featured in both Country Living Magazine and Parade Magazine.

In this class we will make our own Hazelnut Dacquoise cake, a homemade chocolate almond filling and and assemble the cakes together. Everyone works individually and you will get to take home what you make.

Classes are limited to 10 people per class. THIS CLASS USES ALMONDS AND HAZELNUTS.

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ANYTHING IS NUT OR GLUTEN FREE.

Every person that participates in the class is required to purchase a ticket. This class is for anyone ages 10 and older. Anyone under age 18 does require a parental consent form to be filled out by a parent or legal guardian. One form is required per student under age 18 .

By registering for the class, you consent to Annie's Signature Sweets LLC and all affiliated organizations using any photography or videography to be used on their websites, social media platforms, and any other type of printed or promotional campaigns for an indefinite amount of time.

As always, my priority is the health and safety of everyone who attends my in-person baking classes. My goal is to provide a safe environment for all baking classes by implementing cleaning and sanitizing procedures recommended by local health officials.
