Anne-Marie Erickson was born in the western Minnesota prairie town of Benson, thegranddaughter of Norwegian immigrants. She attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, whereshe earned a B.A. in American Studies. Following a move to northern Minnesota, she received aM.A. in English from Bemidji State University. For many years, she was a freelance writer. Herjournalism, poetry, essays, and book reviews have appeared in regional publications; this is herfirst book. She taught English at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, andMangold Institute, in Madrid, Spain. Patricia Hoolihan’s most recent book, Hands and Heart Together – Daily Meditations for Caregivers was published by Holy Cow! Press in 2021. Her previous books include a memoir titled Storm Prayers – Retrieving and Reimagining Matters of the Soul, published by North Star Press. A long time writing instructor at The Loft in Minneapolis and previously at Metropolitan State University, she loves being part of other writers’ discovery of their own stories. She lives in MInneapolis with her husband and Bucky the cat.

A: Please do if at all possible! Use the registration button above. Registering ahead of time helps us with scheduling, book ordering, and other decisions that are made several weeks prior to the event. The more info we have ahead of time, the better.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but seating decisions are made based on registered attendance and seating priority is given to registered attendees first.
