Anne-Davnes Elser: Flourishing in the Clouds | 2-Day Workshop

Make your flourishes take flight with pointed pen, shimmering colour and expressive movement in this joyful two-day workshop.
About this Event

What if flourishing didn’t have to feel intimidating?

What if, instead, it felt like play?

Join beloved calligrapher and teacher Anne-Davnes Elser for two creative days exploring expressive pointed-pen flourishing through movement, rhythm, colour and shimmer.

In Flourishing in the Clouds, Anne will help you loosen up your pen, build confidence in your strokes and discover how beautiful flourishes develop from rhythm rather than perfection.

You’ll explore graceful, expressive forms and learn creative ways to bring colour, shimmer, movement and light into your lettering. Flourish Festival of Letters & Art

Anne has been teaching for nearly 30 years, and she’s known for creating the kind of classroom where experimentation is encouraged and perfection can take the day off. Flourish Festival of Letters & Art

You’ll leave with new flourishing techniques, greater confidence with your pointed pen, exercises you can continue at home and, very possibly, a completely different relationship with flourishing.
