About this Event

Join us for a powerful evening as acclaimed journalist and author Anne Cadwallader launches her debut novel, Crossing Over. Transitioning from investigative non-fiction (Lethal Allies: British Collusion in Ireland and Holy Cross: The Untold Story) to gripping historical fiction, Cadwallader is joined by Academy Award-nominated actor Stephen Rea to discuss this raw exploration of justice in 1980s Belfast.

The novel follows Lena Dawson, a London lawyer thrust into a web of conspiracy involving loyalist defense, IRA investigations, and state secrets. In a city where the legal system is a thin veneer for a fractured reality, Lena must navigate a world where the truth is the most dangerous enemy.

Perfect for fans of Milkman and Trespasses, the event features a discussion on morality and courage, followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing. Don't miss this unique meeting of one of Ireland's most insightful reporters and a legendary icon of stage and screen.
