Annasach Ceilidh Band is delighted to invite you to their informal celebration of The Bard's birthday in the hidden gem of Edinburgh’s Old Town, The Counting House - a venue where Robert Burns himself was once entertained by poet Thomas Blacklock.
Doors open at 7pm so you can enjoy a drink before the dancing begins at 7.30pm, with their caller dance caller Tricia there to guide every step — perfect for beginners and seasoned ceilidh‑goers alike.
Around 9pm, you’ll be served a complimentary dram of Johnnie Walker Black Label to accompany the traditional Address to a Haggis, followed by a buffet supper of haggis (vegan available), neeps & tatties. Then it’s back to the dancing for the rest of the evening.
Google review - "I've now been to 2 Burns Night Ceilidhs at The Counting House with Annasach. Thoroughly enjoyed with supper included. What really stands out for me after being to a variety of ceilidhs across Edinburgh & Aberdeen many callers are half arsed. However Annasach properly teach you the steps, their caller is brilliant. If your not an expert definitely go to one of their ceilidhs, I will definitely attend again..."
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are priced at £32. You will receive an e-ticket which should be brought with you on the evening. Tickets are non-transferable and any requests for refunds must be made directly to the band. Tickets will not be available at the door, although band merchandise will be available as usual. Please note that both the box office and venue are cashless.
Annasach look forward to playing for you.
Please note: an official photographer may be in attendance. By purchasing a ticket, you agree that images may be used for future publicity.
