Calling all Annapolis Striders members: We want YOU to help represent our club at the 2025 RRCA Ten Mile Club Challenge, a friendly competition between Maryland & DC's RRCA-affiliated running clubs taking place on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland!Participants run the rolling 10 mile course individually, but the event is scored cross-country style, with a variety of age- & gender-based club awards up for grabs. That said, runners of all ability levels are welcome on our Annapolis Striders team! (The event *does* have a 2 hour 10 minute cutoff time, though, so you'll need to be capable of running 10 miles at under 13:00 per mile.)
This year our club will be reimbursing our runners for half of the $40 entry fee when they pick up their bib numbers on race morning! We'll hand over $20 cash at the Annapolis Striders' pick-up table. But you do need to register for the Challenge in advance no later than Thursday, February 13th; there is no late or race day registration. Not up to a hilly ten miler? You can still represent us as a volunteer at the Club Challenge! The Challenge is hosted by the Howard County Striders and they need a large number of volunteers to put on this event every year.
