Umělecká dvojice Anna Slama a Marek Delong představí v Galerii Kostka výstavu Resting Horizon, která plynule naváže na jejich dřívější projekty na CJCH (2020), Maglev (2022) a Čas oponou trhnul (2024). Jejich aktuální tvůrčí poloha nadále vychází z DIY přístupů a práce s přírodními materiály, svými dynamickými liniemi a hladkými, leštěnými povrchy ale formálně přechází z dřívější „pomalosti“ do magické a současně designově orientované formy.✶ Výstava bude zahájena ve středu 29. října souběžně s instalací Martins Kohout: Leaving the house with an open fire, but briefly v Galerii MeetFactory. V ten samý večer proběhnou v prvním patře smíchovské továrny Open Studios, tradiční přehlídka tvorby rezidentů a rezidentek mezinárodního A-i-R programu MeetFactory.
Anna Slama (*1991, Brno) a Marek Delong (*1986, Brno) tvoří od roku 2015 autorskou dvojici, Delong absolvoval Ateliér videa na FaVU VUT v Brně a Slama na Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design ve Stockholmu (společně také absolvovali stáže na EKA Tallinn a Nagar School of Art v Jeruzalémě). Jejich praxe se soustředí na imerzivní, scénograficky pojaté instalace, kde se socha, objekt, malba a pohyblivý obraz dehierarchizují ve prospěch haptické materiality a afektivní zkušenosti. Dlouhodobě je zajímá „návrat k citlivosti“ a práce s emocionálním napětím.

The artist duo Anna Slama and Marek Delong presents the exhibition Resting Horizon at the Kostka Gallery, seamlessly building on their earlier projects for CJCH (2020), Maglev (2022), and Čas oponou trhnul (Time Pulled the Curtain, 2024). Their current phase continues to draw on DIY approaches and natural materials, yet—with dynamic lines and smooth, polished surfaces—it shifts formally from an earlier ethos of “slowness” toward a magical, design-oriented articulation.
✶ The exhibition will open on Wednesday, October 29, along with a new installation at MeetFactory Gallery, Martins Kohout: Leaving the house with an open fire, but briefly. That same evening, the first floor of the factory will host Open Studios, a traditional showcase of the work of the current residents of the MeetFactory A-i-R programme.
Anna Slama (*1991, Brno) and Marek Delong (*1986, Brno) have worked together as an artistic duo since 2015. Delong graduated from the Video Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology (FaVU VUT), and Slama from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm (the duo also completed placements at EKA Tallinn and the Nagar School of Art in Jerusalem). Their practice centers on immersive, scenographically conceived installations in which sculpture, objects, painting, and the moving image are de-hierarchized in favor of haptic materiality and affective experience. Over the long term they have been engaged with a “return to sensitivity” and the articulation of emotional tension.
