Join us for an engaging evening at Snowy Owl Theater with Anna Lappé, one of the world’s leading advocates for food systems that nourish people, protect the planet, and support those who tend the land and water.
Drawing from her own journey—including being raised by Frances Moore Lappé, whose groundbreaking Diet for a Small Planet helped spark a food movement—Anna Lappé will take us to the frontlines of today’s fight for food that is good, clean, and fair.
As Executive Director of the Global Alliance for the Future of Food—a strategic alliance of philanthropic foundations working globally for food systems transformation—and as the author or contributing author to more than a dozen books on food, farming, and sustainability, Anna brings both big-picture insight and deeply personal storytelling to the urgent challenges of our time.
In this evening together, Anna will help us see how even in this moment of climate change, biodiversity collapse, and a farm crisis even more crushing than the 1980s, there’s hope in shared action—and the knowledge that with every bite we take, we can make a difference for a better world.
