** UPDATE **Owing to a late, more lucrative offer from abroad, Toby is now unavailable. I have no truck with that at all - whilst they clearly love their art, Musicians do not get an easy rub and so must take the better paying jobs when they arise. Fortunately the fire-breathing Anna Chandler-King has stepped up as Leader.
Anna Chandler-King brings a selection of exceptional improvisers together to play a variety of her compositions, that celebrate all her favourite parts of jazz and improvised music. Expect straight-ahead and bebop burners, contemporary grooves and some more open improvisational moments.
Her musical approach has always been to take lessons from the many parts of this music she loves, and ties it together with an emotive, melodic approach.
