Join us on Saturday, September 6, 2025 (the weekend after Labor Day) at Christmas Hill Park for a one-of-a-kind event that brings together two things we love-- anime and fitness! Whether you're a passionate runner, a dedicated cosplayer, or just looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something here for everyone.
We’ll kick off the day with a 5K walk/run (9:30 AM) along a paved trail (advance sign-up required through registration link)
Then, keep the excitement going with our lively Vendor Village (10:00-4:00 PM) featuring local artisans, small businesses, and community resources. Come explore, shop, and support small businesses!
Costumes are encouraged! Enter our Cosplay Contest and show off your creativity for a chance to win fun prizes.
Feeling adventurous? Sign up in advance for our Warrior Sprint Obstacle Course and challenge yourself (current sign ups full but see website for waitlist sign up)!
This year, we are proud to support the Humane Society of Silicon Valley as our event beneficiary. A portion of all proceeds from the day will go toward helping them rebuild after a devastating fire last year that destroyed 80% of their dog housing and 70% of the cat housing.
The Anime Fan & Fitness Festival was created to bring people together in the spirit of joy, community, and connection—celebrating movement, fandom, and the vibrant diversity of our local area. We can't wait to see you there!

FAQs:
1. Do I need to register in advance for the 5K or obstacle course?
Yes! Advance registration is required for both the 5K Walk/Run and the Warrior Sprint Obstacle Course to help us plan for safety, timing, and supplies. Spots may fill up quickly, so we recommend signing up early!
2. Is the event really free to attend?
Yes! General admission is completely FREE. You can enjoy the vendor village, cosplay contest, and all the festival vibes without a ticket. However, there are separate registration fees for the 5K and obstacle course.
3. Can I wear a costume even if I’m not entering the cosplay contest?
Absolutely! We encourage everyone to dress up and join the fun. Whether you’re entering the contest or just enjoying the day in your favorite character’s gear, we love seeing your creativity.
4. Is this a kid- and pet-friendly event?
Yes to both! This is a family-friendly event for all ages, and leashed pets are welcome in outdoor areas. We do ask that you help keep the park clean and respectful for all guests (and bring those poop bags!).
5. What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing:
-Comfortable walking shoes (especially for the 5K or obstacle course)
-Water bottle (refill stations may be available)
-Sunscreen and hats (shade may be limited)
-We will have limited seating so feel free to bring your own chairs
-Cash or card for vendor purchases
-And of course—your cosplay outfit if you’re dressing up!
