Douglas Land Conservancy and the Town of Castle Rock present the Animals Around the Rock series. You'll dive into the characteristics that define our local wildlife, including raptors, reptiles, bats, insects and other species.
Reptiles Under the Rock — Join Nature's Educators for a 30-minute presentation featuring some of the amazing reptiles and amphibians that live in our area. Learn about their habitats, diets, defenses, conservation and more. This event is great for all ages.
For 2026, we've moved this event indoors to the Millhouse for a more intimate experience in viewing the animals. Register for either the 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. options, which are limited to 80 people per viewing. Both presentations will be the same.
We will have a craft table and educational information for participants to enjoy either before or after their registered time slot.
