Calling all the little yogis! Come discover your favorite animal pose with Ms. Laurie at Novel Memphis. Ms. Laurie has been teaching yoga for almost six years. She has a 200-hour training certification, plus additional certifications in trauma-informed and accessible yoga, and she has almost finished with another 300-hour teaching/yoga therapy certification. She teaches twice a week at The University of Memphis, substitutes regularly at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens and St. Jude Hospital, and during the summer she teaches children who are staying at Room in the Inn, a shelter for families experiencing homelessness.
Cost is $10.50 per student; limit of 30 students. Please bring a mat or towel and a water bottle. Parents, please feel free to enjoy the onsite restaurant Libro or explore the bookstore while your child participates. Log in to your MHEA account to register by 11:55 pm on Monday, November 11.
