Learn about raising farm animals in the city!
About this Event

This introductory workshop explores the fundamentals of raising animals in urban environments. Participants will learn about local regulations and zoning considerations, how to select appropriate species for city settings, and how to design infrastructure that supports animal health and welfare.

We’ll also cover feeding and nutrition basics, manure management and soil integration, and strategies for building positive relationships within the community. This session is ideal for aspiring and current urban livestock keepers seeking practical, responsible, and sustainable approaches.
