Angus MacDonald Celebrates the Country’s 250th Anniversary During Log Cabin Day!

Angus MacDonald will take visitors back in time during Log Cabin Day on Sunday, June 28 from 1 to 3 PM on the porch of the Dougherty Mission House Museum.
Join us for music Angus especially chose to celebrate our countries’s 250th anniversary.
His music truly transports us into the 1800s.
The museum will be open from 11 to 4 with free admission. There’s a free craft project for kids.
Our first Blessing of the American Chestnut Blossoms will take place at 1pm. Discover the surprising process of pollinating these magnificent trees at 1:30pm.
Come play croquet, tour the house and outbuildings, learn about American chestnut trees and take a selfie with the Dougherty Family selfie board at 18459 Mission Road.
Discover the 1842 historic Dougherty Mission House that gave Old Mission Peninsula its name.
