TGH is proud to partner with AngioScreen® and invite you to get a snapshot of your vascular health. AngioScreen® uses ultrasound technology to take images of your carotid arteries and look for areas of cholesterol build-up which can lead to blockages. Ultrasound technology is portable, non-invasive, involves no exposure to radiation and can detect early abnormalities in the vascular arteries.This screening is designed to screen for the three proximate or immediate causes of stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), and peripheral vascular disease (PVD). AngioScreen® measurements provide a non-diagnostic assessment of risk that can be enhanced by consultation with your personal physician.
