In this friendship book for kids, a little pup with a big secret discovers how our differences are what make us special. It's an inspiring tale that encourages children to celebrate the uniqueness of those around them.

Meet the authors - 15-year-old vitiligo advocate Mallory and her mom Annalee, get your book signed and go home with an extra copy of Angel’s Big Splash. The “Buy One, Give One” program is gaining popularity with books around the world and Angel’s Big Splash is taking part. Everyone who purchases Angel’s Big Splash who attends the invite only book launch party will receive an extra free copy of the book to donate and share with a classroom, library or someone who needs a little bravery in their lives. This will be offered at future in person book events with Mallory as well.

Mallory is a passionate advocate for the vitiligo community. Diagnosed with vitiligo when she was in first grade, Mallory has spoken at conferences, told her story through print and on television, and is an Ambassador for the University of Minnesota Health Fairview Pediatrics. She spoke about vitiligo at the National American Miss pageant, where she won the National All-American Miss Preteen title for 2023-24 and the International Spokesmodel competition for her speech "Loving the Skin You're In: My Journey with Vitligo."

Learn about Mallory’s organization, Be Brave With Mallory, a movement rooted in self-love, vitiligo awareness, and the power of telling your unique story. Her mission is to encourage all girls to “Be Brave,” because she believes that everyone should love the skin they’re in. Be Brave With Mallory started as a personal journey and grew into a mission to help other girls feel seen, celebrated, and strong in their own skin.
