Come ye all to make merry and meet new (and old) friends at Angels/Altavia Yule Feast. This year, we are asking our populace “What does Yule mean to you?” as our theme. So, be creative and have fun expressing your “Yule” with food, bardic, table decorations, and clothing. NOTE: The location for Yule has changed this year. It will be at The Santa Anita Church in Arcadia, CA. Parking will be at the back of the hall. Look for signs guiding you to parking and the event hall.Contests will include, but may not be limited to:
Angels/Altavia Bardic Champion (participants may declare for either or both baronies.) Bardic entrants, please limit your performance to no longer than 4 minutes.
Chess Champion for Angels/Altavia. The competition will be run by last year's Champions.
Best Table Setting.
Angels Contest: Best Dessert in the form of an Angel. Be it a Biblical representation or an illustration from the book of Kells. The sky’s the limit!

The dining will be potluck style. Individuals can bring a side, a main dish, or a dessert (prep for around 8-12 people). Last name starting with A-F bring a dessert, G-L bring an appetizer or salad, M-R bring a main dish, and S-Z bring a side dish. Be sure to include a list of ingredients for any and all shared food.
Remember to bring feast gear (plates, cups, utensils). There will be tables available for open seating for those who'll make new friends.
Youth Activities will be run by Baroness Fara Macgregor.
We hope to have music and dancing following the Bardic competition!
The toy drive will be back this year, for which you can bring an unwrapped gift to donate.

Doors Open at 4pm
Event Starts at 5pm with Opening Court shortly after.
Hall Closes at 9pm
Clean up and lock out at 10pm.
Registration: Adult event registration, $20, Adult Members discount registration, $10. Children under 18 are guests of the Barony. Cash and Checks are accepted. Make checks payable to “SCA Inc. Barony of the
Angels”.

Site restrictions: This is a No Smoking site (including the parking lot) This site is discretely damp.
Directions: 210 E. Follow signs for San Bernardino. Take exit 31, Baldwin Ave to Arcadia. Take the rightmost lane to turn right on N Baldwin Ave, then immediately right towards Colorado Ave E. Right on Colorado St E at the stoplight. Take Colorado St E to the next stoplight and turn left to continue on Colorado Blvd. Site is on the right.
I-5 N. Use right two lanes for exit 124 for I-605 N. Right at the fork. Follow signs for I-605 N. Take left two lanes for I-210 W to Pasadena. Take exit 32 for Santa Anita Ave using the 2nd Lane. Keep left. Left on Santa Anita Ave. Turn right on Colorado Blvd. Continue past Santa Rosa Road, Site will be on the left.
