Ready to level up your Bachata? The Stepping in Sequins “Zafiras” team is back in 2025, and we're looking for passionate Brisbane ladies who want to challenge themselves and grow in a supportive, hardworking environment.
✨What to expect ✨
This year, we’ll be dancing to Prince Royce’s Anestesiada. Get ready for a dynamic intermediate+ level routine packed with creative footwork, intricate body movement, and fabulous styling.
🔹Training focus🔹
Each 75-minute session will develop:
- Body movement and isolation
- Styling with energy and control
- Speed and execution of footwork
- Spins, including those with stylised finishes
- Synchronicity and flashy formations in a team
- Performance attitude and stage presence
- Strength and flexibility

This routine is designed for intermediate dancers with a solid grasp of Bachata basics, timing, footwork, and spinning technique.
If you’re unsure about your level, don’t hesitate to DM us. We welcome eager dancers with a drive to learn and who want to take on a challenge 😊
⏱️ Team schedule ⏱️
Term 1 (16 weeks): March 12 - June 25 2025, culminating in performances at local events.
Term 2 (Aug - Dec): Further performances, festival appearances, and building a competition team!

Location: 10 Love St, Spring Hill (downstairs studio)
Cost: $350 per term (16 weeks)
Performance and competition participants should budget $150-$250 for a custom costume by Dale Dancewear.
