On Monday 11th May, renowned local artist Andrew Pitt will be returning to Old Hall Southwold Cafe & Walks to lead another of his wonderful seasonal one-day workshops, exploring watercolour technique to help you capture the beauty, colour and nuance found within Spring landscapes.Taking advantage of the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful site whilst the cafe is closed to the public, Andrew will teach by demonstration and show how he goes about capturing the light, shade, and colours prevalent in our landscapes as we leave the darker days of Winter behind and emerge into Spring. Participants may bring along their own source material to paint from, or take inspiration from our cafe’s beautiful vistas over the Blyth Estuary
Whether you’re a beginner at the start of your journey into painting or a more seasoned artist, this will be a wonderfully sociable and peaceful day for a small group of participants, celebrating the joy of watercolour under the guidance of an expert.
Price includes a delicious Old Hall breakfast, a light lunch and afternoon tea.
A full list of suggested equipment and materials will be emailed to participants prior to the event.
