Courtney Von Drehle is one of Portland’s most accomplished and recognizable multi-instrumentalists. An Emmy-nominated composer, accordionist, saxophonist, arranger, and educator, he is best known as a co-founder and principal composer of the acclaimed ensemble 3 Leg Torso. His music blends influences from tango, klezmer, Roma, Latin, jazz, Americana, and chamber music traditions into a distinctive sound that has earned him two inductions into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
Andrew Alikhanov is a Portland-based clarinetist known for his expressive playing and deep roots in Eastern European, klezmer, Balkan, and world music traditions. Originally from Russia, he became a prominent figure in Portland’s multicultural music scene after joining fellow Russian musicians in the energetic Portland band Chervona.
