Andrea Schmutz, Miss Idaho for America - Piano Concert Fundraiser

Our goal is to raise a total of $3,500 through this and other fundraisers. All proceeds will go towards Andrea's mission to promote her platform, Education Beyond Boundaries, which encourages immigrant women and single mothers to pursue a formal education so they can help themselves in whatever circumstances they may find themselves in. Your support will play a vital role in taking this platform to the national level, including speaking with fellow contestants and judges about the importance of Education Beyond Boundaries. Through the title of Miss Idaho for America 2026, Andrea wants to be a voice for the women in her group and continue to inspire immigrant women and single mothers by making appearances and connecting with organizations across Idaho. In addition, Andrea will compete at the national level in August, representing Idaho. Part of the fundraising will also help Andrea with the advertising page and make-up during the Miss America Strong 2026 competition. Weekly donation updates will be posted here so you can follow our progress! If donations exceed the goal, the extra funds will go directly to supporting the Empowering Immigrant Women quarterly brunches.

Andrea is currently a PhD student in Educational Leadership and a college instructor. She is the founder of a community group called Empowering Immigrant Women.

Andrea has been playing the piano since she was six years old. She studied at the Yamaha School of Music and St. Scholastica's School of Music in the Philippines from the ages of 10 through 17. Although she chose to pursue International Business and Politics in her undergraduate and graduate career rather than Music, her love for the piano never wavered, and she continues to play to this day.
