"Yard Market"

The Town of Throop Recreation Committee is hosting their annual sales event this year on Saturday, August 1, starting at 9am for shoppers! This will be a combination of yard sales and craft & farmers market, which have been two separate events in the past.

We will have Leo's Donut Factory food truck from 9am-1pm with hot and iced coffee, cold cider, cider slush and frozen lemonade to name a few for purchase.

The committee is looking for sellers of yard sales, crafts and farmer stand goods. If interested in setting up a tent and table(s) in the yard, at no cost please email us, [email protected] or reach out on Facebook. Please note, nothing is to be left behind or on the side of the road for free. There is no assigned tent or table space. The pavilion space at the fire department is not for use at this event.

SET UP IS NO EARLIER THAN 7:30am.

Committee member(s) will be setting up their own space at the yard sale as well and plan to be there around 7:30am to assist with any questions on set up. If you set up in the past or are new, it will still be the same layout of a row of sellers in the side yard. Sellers are able to park in the yard behind their space.

As we as a small committee have to monitor the lawn as well for clean up, we do kindly ask for sellers to be mindful of any clean up and to start gathering up their belongings for clean up before 3pm.
