Rock Falls Tourism is excited to announce the evolution of its beloved Tour of Lights House Decorating Contest into a bigger and brighter community celebration — the Winter Wonderland House and Business Window Decorating Contest.
This expanded event invites both residents and local businesses to help transform Rock Falls into a dazzling Winter Wonderland, filled with festive lights, creative displays, and joyful holiday spirit. From beautifully lit homes and whimsical inflatables to eye-catching storefronts and elaborate window designs, participants will help make Rock Falls the ultimate destination for holiday cheer.
Registration is FREE and must be submitted between November 1st and November 14th for Businesses. A Rock Falls Tourism representative will come to your business on November 20th to take a photo of your display and provide a contest number with a QR code for voting. Displays must be visible from the street to be judged.
Registration must be submitted by December 10th at 5 p.m for Houses. A night photo must be emailed with registration. All light and yard displays must be visible from the street. For voting, all displays must be turned on between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on December 12th through December 21st.

Send completed forms to [email protected] or stop in at the Rock Falls Tourism Office at City Hall
The public can vote via QR Code or submit a ballot at the Rock Falls City Hall (Ballot is for house contest only). Business voting will be by QR code only.
