Celebrate in style with our Culinary Bus Tour around Windsor! Hop on board as we take you on a flavorful journey through the city, stopping at various eateries to savor delicious dishes that highlight Black heritage and culture.
Get ready to Delight in unique and authentic Black cuisine, including a mix of African, Jamaican and North American Soul Food! Our guests will sample flavours from a minimum of 3 restaurants that tell stories of culture and heritage, all while exploring significant landmarks and narratives that shaped this community.and connecting with fellow foodies.
Specifically, they will hear about Windsor’s significant role in the Underground Railroad and the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, as guests are taken on a coach Bus Tour around Windsor, guided by noted Black historian . Stops and photo ops include the historic Jackson Park Bandshell, the Tower of Freedom Underground Railroad Monument, The Paterson Park Murals and more.
The tour begins at Art Windsor Essex () and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We travel rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
