On Good Friday, April 18, we will keep vigil with Christ with a “Stations of the Cross” contemplative experience devised by Lay Leader Jean Ellis and Pastor Rob Gunkelman. Members of our church family can complete the self-guided experience any time they wish — between the hours of 12-8 pm — in the church building.
The purpose of this event is to allow us a window into what Christ suffered on Good Friday through eight unique stations. The stations are designed to help us better understand the depth of Christ’s sacrifice. Then when we celebrate His resurrection on Sunday, we can be filled, more authentically, with joy and relief that He triumphed over death.
