You are cordially invited to join Centro De Salud Familiar La Fe for "Voces Del 26 — A Chicano Heritage Month Celebration of El Paso's Spanish-Language TV News Pioneers!"
The day will begin at 8 a.m. with a hearty menudo breakfast fundraiser, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a live, bilingual discussion panel featuring some of our region's most prestigious journalists — several of whom were part of our region's first Spanish-language TV news team at KINT-TV 26. The event will take place at the La Fe San José Ballroom, one of Segundo Barrio's most historic sites, located at 501 S. Virginia St., EPTX 79901.
La Fe proudly welcomes: Retired Attorney and Original KINT-TV Investor Joe Silva; Former KINT-TV News Director Zoltan Csanyi Salcedo; Veteran Journalists Pedro Villagrana and Héctor Urrutia; Current News Director Dalinda García; and Veteran KINT Weather Anchor Aldo Acosta.
Admission and streetside parking are free for all community members. Early arrival is recommended. Journalism students and educators are strongly encouraged to attend.
