"Verses in Bloom" A Night of Ekphrastic Poetry

You're Invited to a Night of Poetry at Chopsticks Alley Gallery, inspired by the exhibition "Pearls Remember."

Join us for an evening of spoken word as poets Edward Jonathans, Lorenz Dumuk, and Tryshna Malonzo share original works inspired by artworks created by Filipino Artist Charlene Tan.

Let their words guide you through a lyrical journey of color, culture, and connection within the serene setting of our current exhibition.

Across the ocean, memory gathers slowly. Pressed by time, shaped by care, they become pearls.
This exhibition explores memory, migration, and the quiet labor of cultural continuity. Interwoven between the Philippines and the United States.

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to experience the intersection of visual art and poetry.
