"Vaanyerum Vizhuthugal" - Chennai Photo Biennale 4

The much-anticipated Chennai Photo Biennale (CPB) Edition 4 opens on 20th December 2024 with its thematic inquiry “Why Photograph?” This biennale brings together over 20 exhibitions and programs featuring groundbreaking works that explore diverse narratives and reshape our understanding of photography.

"Vaanyerum Vizhuthugal" (Roots that reach for the sky)

 A tribute to Tamil Nadu’s vibrant photographic talent this exhibition showcases the works of 12 lens-based artists. Curated by Jaisingh Nageswaran the exhibit delves into personal and cultural narratives through evocative imagery. A project by CPB Foundation in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Chennai In association with The Hindu Made of Chennai
