Let’s party like it’s the Jurassic era! The 2026 summer reading program "Unearth a Story" kicks off at the Mary L. Cook Library on Friday, May 29th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 30th, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children and teens, drop in to sign up, enter a raffle, pick up a calendar, and a bookmark-reading log. While you're here, adopt a dinosaur and visit fun themed photo stations to take photos of your new friend in fun themed backgrounds.
Adults, register to win one of our fabulous raffle prizes. You’ll receive a chance for each five items you check out.
While you’re busy digging through book pages, unearthing your story, and filling your reading logs, don’t forget about all of our fun programs this year! We’ll have drop-in arts and crafts programs for children and an art camp for teens. Check out our animal visitors with Cool Critters Outreach and see some
amazing raptors with the Glen Helen Raptor Center. Learn about fossils, dinosaurs, and more from a Warren County Parks Naturalist and attend fun, interactive family storytimes.
