Join Mary Veal in person at Green Tara Yoga or on Zoom live for teachings from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. How does a text that is 2500 years old actually apply to modern day life? What lessons can we learn to help us understand ourselves and the world on a deeper level? This is not a book study group. This online course will introduce you to core and valuable teachings within the Yoga Sutras. Whether you are new to the Yoga Sutras or have studied them for years, each new experience in life adds wisdom and perspective to areas of higher learning.
Each session will start with a lecture by Mary Veal, followed by group discussion and time for questions. Any translation of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras may be used with this course. Each session will be recorded and sent to all participants, so if you miss a week, you have the recording to keep up.
