"Tiny Finds The Mightiest", a children's opera in CCSUMC

"Tiny Finds The Mightiest" (originally titled, "The Strong, The Fast, And The Tiny") is a children's opera by Ü Lee, a local composer and author. Ü received a Statewide Community Regrant through the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes to publish a children's book, "The Strong, The Fast, And The Tiny", in 2025. In 2026, Ü shared her book during the read-a-thon in the Discovery Center.
After creating the book, Ü received a New York State on The Arts composition grant to turn the book into a children's opera in 2026. Ü has hosted a few workshop performances for this opera. Ü makes modifications and adds elements in each workshop performance.
For this performance, the special parts include:
1. A creative team and cast with local talents!
Ü, Beth, Erin, and AmarA are very active in the local art scenes.
Kodylynn has starred in opera productions locally. She's also a familiar face to many in the Discovery Center.
Alexander is a busy voice professor in a few colleges
Josiah is an inspiring 17 yo talent Ü discovered during a school performance
Bill is Ü's favorite show host on WSKG
2. Props and sets built by performers under the guidance of the Amazing AmarA
3. Everyone will learn some Choreography (dance moves) with Erin, the co-owner of Dance Intentions
*A few super talented dancers recruited through Dance Intentions will perform some special dances in this opera
4. The performance will be presented with a chamber orchestra!!!
5. It's FREE to the public!!!
