"The President's Own" United States Marine Band Concert
Led by Director Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Nowlin, the 29th Director of “The President’s Own,” the Marine Band’s 2026 National Concert Tour brings its tradition of musical excellence to audiences throughout the United States. The program features a diverse selection of traditional concert band repertoire, instrumental solos, and celebrated marches by legendary Marine Band Director John Philip Sousa, including The Stars and Stripes Forever and Semper Fidelis. The concert will open with the National Anthem and conclude with the Armed Forces service songs.
This special performance offers the Jacksonville community an opportunity to experience one of America’s most historic and celebrated musical organizations live at the University of North Florida.
Free and open to the public with reserved tickets.
Reservations for “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band Concert will open on September 9, 2026. Due to anticipated high attendance, tickets are required for entry and should be reserved in advance.
Ticket holders must be seated at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the concert. Tickets will be considered void 15 minutes before the performance.
A standby line will open at 7:15 p.m. for any remaining seating. Standby seating is not guaranteed and will be available only if seats remain after ticketed guests have been accommodated.
