Devin Alfather is passing through Memphis for one night only! Catch this 2 hour introductory course on slow, slinky fusion movement as we bridge the permeable barrier between classical Raqs Sharqi (Bellydance) and Fusion technique.
Class capacity is limited! This movement workshop is suitable for beginners and new-comers to the fusion Bellydance style.

About this instructor: Devin is a sometimes-touring, but always goofing, full time performer and entertainer in Raqs Sharqi, Fusion Bellydance, and circus arts. She is a continuous student of source-dancers and mentors. She has performed, costumed and generally run amok with Silvia Salamanca's "Shunyata", toured the American Southwest and California with Veronica Lynn's "Disco Iskandar" and can often be found rolling around the dancefloor of several Bellydance conventions per year. Director and lead chorographer of The Jewel Box Dancers, she spends every spare moment she has knee-deep in rhinestones. She hopes very much to share her unique brand of strange and unusual movements with the world.
