ACAP North Atlanta is hosting a free educational program titled "The Importance of Being Socially Engaged and Active" on Tuesday, July 9 at 5:30pm.The program will be held in the Asbury Room of Dunwoody United Methodist Church, located at 1548 Mt. Vernon Road in Dunwoody, GA.
Aging can bring many challenges, making it hard to build new relationships and straining existing ones. Issues like losing loved ones, declining health, reduced income, lack of transportation, and retirement can lead to social isolation and loneliness. These issues are major public health concerns and can negatively impact health and quality of life.
Gain insights from our program to combat loneliness and social isolation in aging loved ones. Learn to identify signs, understand the health impacts, and discover local resources and community programs. Empower yourself to keep your loved ones socially engaged and improve their quality of life and well-being.
