“Tar” Prints and Sculptures
Tuesday, June 16
2-4pm
Grades 6-12, only.
Watch a few short videos about fossils, tar pits, and paleontologists. Then we will use gelli plates, paint, aluminum foil, air dry clay, feathers, plus additional supplies and tools to create mono-colored prints and/or sculptures inspired by the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles.
Snacks will be available.
Participants are encouraged to arrive on time and to wear clothes that can get dirty or to bring an apron or large shirt to wear over your outfit.
